- Review AI Identification & Mark Cards "Ready to List"
- Ensure each card has price & an accurate condition
- Export Cards to desired channel via CSV
1. Create a Batch
There are two primary ways to create a batch in Card Dealer Pro.
- Add Cards Button - Go to the top left and hit the Add cards button. Click the button and from there you can select create a batch, or you can add cards to an existing batch.
- Add Batch Button -The batch icon on the left hand side takes you to the batches screen( second one down). From there click the button on the right hand side called Add batch and that will create a new batch.
2. Upload Images into your batch
- Creating a Batch - Once you've created your batch, give it a unique name. You'll want to select whether you're doing sports cards or trading card games. In addition you can narrow down the database search to a particular sport or game. Next you can select your title template and description template. These can be customized in your settings which can be accessed by clicking the profile icon in the top right corner of your screen and clicking "account settings".
- Additional Bulk Settings - These are settings that would be applied to your entire batch by default. Setting required fields like condition or sale price in bulk can save time down the road when trying to list.
- Pro Tip: Presorting cards and uploading in batches by price and can save a lot of time when listing fixed priced items on ebay.
- Inventory Locations: Inventory Location fields can be searched in CDP (cabinet, shelf, box.etc) but keep in mind you won't see these locations pass through to ebay. The sku passes to ebay as a custom label which will appear on active & sold listings. This sku creates a unique value and can be seen on ebay at the point of fulfillment meaning it can be used for inventory control.
- Select Magic Scan to use Card Dealer Pro's artificial intelligence to find your card in our 15 million card database.
- Select whether you have front and back images of your cards or front only. It is preferred among buyers of sports cards to see both the front and back because of the desire to inspect card condition.
3. Review AI Identification & Mark Cards "Ready to List"
- After your cards are processed they will go into a status called "Draft". We've now given you the ability to begin to edit cards while they are processing. Review each card in Draft and click the "Mark as Ready to List" button once you've entered all required information to mark your card as reviewed and ready for export into ebay.
4. Ensure each card has price & an accurate condition
- Inspector View - Another view to edit and view your batches is to click on the inspector view at the top right to view your batch in a spreadsheet-like interface. From here you can copy and paste or even bulk edit an entire column by clicking on its name.
- Required Fields - fields like Title, Price, and condition are required by ebay in order to upload a card. Ensure each required field is completed. Once each card is reviewed and all required fields have been filled out you can select the "Export to Channels" button in the top right.
5.Export Cards to desired channel via CSV
- Once you've selected Export to Channels you can simply choose the channels you plan to export to.
- Select whether the import is for Sports Cards or Trading Card Games
- Choose between fixed price or auction as well as the duration.
- Choose the timing of the listing. The listings can be scheduled to go live immediately or can be scheduled for a future date and time. The listings can even be spread-out at even intervals so they don't all end at the same time.
- On the Shipping setting screen select your shipping service, handle time, and cost for your shipping service.
- Pro Tip- Ebay standard envelope costs $.63 to ship one card.
- Shipping Profile - this can be used to leverage ebay business policies instead of our shipping drop downs here. If you wish to use this you'll need to copy and paste your ebay shipping business policy exactly as written by name.
- Paypal Settings - fill out your paypal email and item location so ebay is able to calculate shipping
- Return Profile - this can be used to leverage ebay business policies instead of our return option dropdowns here. If you wish to use this you'll need to copy and paste your ebay shipping business policy exactly as written by name.
- Final Step is to download the ebay CSV by clicking the download button. Your file will appear as the first thing in your downloads folder on your computer. In order to finish uploading, You'll go to ebay.com and click on the sell button. From there click the Reports -drop down & select Uploads. From there proceed right to step 3 and click the "Upload Template" button. Now your cards will be in your active listings if they were scheduled to go live immediately.
