Getting Started with Trading Card Scanner
Trading Card Scanner is our scanning software that works for windows and mac users for more information and to download visit here: https://www.carddealerpro.com/trading-card-scanner
1. Create a Folder
The first thing you want to do in Trading Card Scanner is create a folder. This will create a folder on your computer where scanned images are stores. Create a new folder for each batch of cards you are scanning, and name the folder something that will allow you to easily go back and find that group of cards.
2. Add a Scanner
First, make sure your scanner is plugged into your computer and turned on. Trading Card Scanner should automatically detect it, and you can add it to your scanner list. The application works with most models of autofeed and flatbed scanners.
3. Scan Cards
Click on the Scan Images button at the top right, and select the scanner you want to use. Make sure your cards are inserted or placed correctly in the scanner. Also be sure to select whether you want to scan front-and-back of the cards, or just front-only mode. If you scan front-and-back on a flatbed, you will be prompted to flip the cards in the same place and scan the back sides.
4. Review your images
Once scanning is complete, review the captured images in the Trading Card Scanner preview, or click on the "Open in Finder" button to open the images in the folder. Within Trading Card Scanner, you can view in a grid or list view, and you can delete cards from a folder or open them in the finder from the list view.
5. Import into Card Dealer Pro
Once you have scanned cards, if you would like to prepare them to be sold online through a marketplace like eBay or CollX, you can import the cards into Card Dealer Pro. The online software allows you to instantly identify your cards, apply all of the card details, price them, and prepare them to be listed for sale. Sync your Card Dealer Pro inventory to any supported online marketplace. Using Trading Card Scanner + Card Dealer Pro can dramatically accelerate the number of cards you can list and sell online.
